Diamond Turning, Flycutting & MRF
Reynard Corporation offers Diamond Point Turning and Magnetorheological Fishing (MRF) in-house capabilities. DPT and MRF are complementary technologies often used in tandem for manufacturing high-precision optical components. We produce 6mm to 800mm diameter high-quality precision optics for the aerospace, military and commercial industries.
Our Nanoforms, Ultra Precision Machining Systems by Precitech are used for the diamond turning multi-stage process to achieve sub-nanometer level surface finishes and sub-micrometer form accuracies. Diamond Turning enables the machining of optics with complex geometries not achievable through other machining capabilities at an economical price.
