The neutral density filter is a glass plate with durable metallic coating that attenuates radiation over a wide spectral range. The filter consists of a vacuum coated spectrally neutral metallic alloy which can be used with white light as well as lasers. These filters are available in any size, density and wavelength on special order.
In addition Reynard Corporation infrared neutral density filters are designed to attenuate radiation over a wide spectral range. The ND coating is optimized from 2.5 to 5 microns. The filters can be used out to 14 microns.
