Band Separation Filters

The band separation filters are 45 degrees and are designed to separate various wavelengths of light at an angle of 90 degrees to each other. The band separation filters are not 100% efficient. They reflect approximately 15% of the transmitted wavelengths. This unwanted energy can be substantially reduced or eliminated by inserting a second trim filter. The trim filters are designed to be used at 0 degrees.
